Re: Cheap yvr hotels with shuttle
Devils advocate here. Posting in a public forum about parking a rv in the AC lot is the best way to screw anyone whom is already doing this. Yes it was banned and a few are still doing it. I assume they are turning a blind eye to it. However once more show up it will ruin ir for all.

Re: Boeing Systemic Problems Continue
There was a documentary a few years ago called “flying cheaper” It talks about this exact topic, rushed , unskilled labour etc at the SC Boeing plant, along with a bunch of other topics of how aviation is going to the lowest bidder for maintenance checks etc. Worth a watch. Never Quit your job to go through the "process" for another job, considering nothing is guaranteed
The new employer should work around your schedule to find appropriate dates that work for both parties.

Re: Preferred wireless plan
Fido $60 unlimited Canada, 10 GB plus the roam like home. The only pita is with most plans either you pay upfront for roaming in the USA as in the North American Plans or pay by the day with the roam like home. You have to figure out how much you are going to be down in the states to see which one i...

Re: WestJet introduces WestJet Link
Besides the tip toeing around the union...Could it also be just a case of Westjet not having to spend capital on smaller dash's, just stoke a cheque each month to pasco. If it ends up being successful, westjet encore then decides to purchase smaller a/c to fly into these smaller markets? Pasco's cur...

For those on the fence deciding to apply. Do it you won't regret it. Spent 10yrs working for the Umbles probably the best Alberta 703 operator hands down. You won't find much on here cause no one has any complaints about the job. Good luck to all who apply.

Lightspeed Zulu 2, if space is not an issue in your flight bag
U fly Mike with Bose QC headset if you need something more compact.
Both are good, the Lightspeed is a tad quieter.

Re: U.S. Work
I was under the impression, that if you are married to a nurse or doctor, they can get a work permit/visa easy. Head hunting agencies do all the paperwork for them. Once they live and work in the USA for 6 months you can then apply and get a work permit quite easy.
