Re: Time in Class C Simulator

I can't agree more with you guys, but since I saw so many people come to my office to have their logbook certified with their sim times added in the flying hours I tough I should ask!

Thanks everyone.

Time in Class C Simulator

Hi,

I would like to know if the time I'm doing in a Class C simulator can be logged as flying hours or only in the simulator category?

Search a little while in the CARs but did not find any usefull answers :)

However I've been CADORS'ed for doing a simple overshoot due to poor weather. What's with that?[/quote] I have been CADORS'ed for overshooting because of snow removal equipment. (Not even really an overshoot, I just decided to do a visual circuit to allow them to vacate the runway) Every overshoot i...

Re: New Licenses.

There is some places in Canada where people speaks french and they are able to communicate in french on the radio, with the flight instructor, the flight school, etc. The english proficiency is an ICAO requirement and will keep some french pilot who doesn't understand english to go outside Canada or...

If you are not approved to fly the GPS approach, you cannot use the MDA for that approach and add 500. But you can use the MSA 25 NM, if you are able to have the distance from the waypoint it's based of.

Salut,

J'espère bien pouvoir me joindre à vous l'an prochain.

I flew the King Air 100 without brake de-ice for quite a while. We use to let the gear down until 400 feet to clean all the snow that might have stuck to the brake disc. In 2500 hours, I blew only 1 tire and it was my fault. I did one of the best greaser I'd ever done. We never felt the plane touch ...
