Re: Air Canada threatens to fire Strachan over remarks on sa
Also, keep in mind Mr. Strachan was reprimanded for making comments publicly while in uniform that were false, slanderous and detrimental towards his employer. I think they let him off easy with a letter. Watch the Lang and O'Leary clip and seriously consider if a judge would agree with you. from t...

Re: Finally Some Sensible Advice
Does the fact sheet outline the stock option and bonuses for the executives, last time I checked pilots don't get 5 million dollar retention bonuses or stock options. I don't know when you last checked, but I guarantee they still don't, why would they? :? They also don't get 250,000...

Re: Finally Some Sensible Advice
Nutsnbolts We get it. In your 5 posts total on here you have made it abundantly clear that you are anti-Pilot, anti-Paul Strachan and anti-union. Gotcha loud and clear. ...simply giving the facts, no bias....but thanks for your interpretation 8) No when you say 170K for an airbus skipper is overpai...

Re: Finally Some Sensible Advice
C'mon.....enough is enough! Executive compensation is a red herring, something the IAM, ACPA and all AC unions, for that matter, focus on because it's easy to mislead their ill-informed members and raises the emotional pitch helping unions indoctrinate/brainwash their membership. From the Air Canad...

Re: Finally Some Sensible Advice
If I was at AC, I would say sure. But if we are going to incorporate change then I would want the CEO and VPs to lead by example. EXACTLY Amazing how simple this is. But you will not find that happening here. C'mon.....enough is enough! Executive compensation is a red herring, something th...

Re: Air Canada moves to lock out pilots
   Hats off to Captain Paul Strachan for his very concise, to the point, informative and honest interviews he gave in the news!! It's not often that you see Kevin O'Leary pause and have nothing to reply to in his one on one debates... Really, I don't see him the same wa...

Re: Air Canada moves to lock out pilots
I'm guessing it'll be the "Manager of Non-Revenue Flying" who does it because he can finally do something to justify his position. Plus the rest of us aren't competent enough which is why we have a Manager of Non-Revenue Flying. I am told that most airlines have this position now. The Flight Ops Mn...
