CHC Global is growing, and doing well. It is reputed that CHC Global has 70%+ of the international off shore work. No complaints here. I don’t know much about CHC domestic, except to say they have nothing to do with Global ops.

I do 6 weeks on 6 weeks off in Africa. The company flies me to and from my home in BC, gives me lots of cash to make sure I get food along the way, pays for a cab to take me right to my door, even paid ½ of the cost of my Bose ANR headset. The over seas tax status is awesome, the extra incentive pay...

I’m back and forth to Europe and beyond allot. In the last couple of months I have been in 330’s, L1011’s, 747’s, 757’s. The 11 hours from Amsterdam to Seattle can make a guy cranky, into the ninth hour the ……Are we there yet, starts. It is very common for the pax to get up and walk about to stretch...

I'm with "i smell burnt toast" My hat is off to you!

All pilots need to stick together, its a tough world out there navigating managements decisions whilst staying safe. I feel for Skyward guys and girls; as well as, the Jetsgo pilots. I don’t wish the outcomes on anyone.

Skyward no more

Yikes, I know a few guys from Skyward, I've spent some time in Manitoba flying fling wing. I understand Skyward has just gone into receiver ship, there is no hope for a flight of the phoenix there! The travel demand remains unchanged, Perimeter will probably pick up the slack, I hear they are hiring!

Where to go

Hey there, Canadian is a great company. There are two different operations, International and Domestic. Domestic is partially owned by International (49% I believe). The two companies have nothing to do with each others operations, they share paint scheme. International is now called CHC Global. A g...

Training Bonds

Yikes, I feel for the "Jets no more guys" I know a couple of them. The company I work for sent me to Europe to do a type rating on a new aircraft. The expense to the company up front was huge. From the time I left my home till I returned, the company paid my wages, all airfare, hotels, meals, ten da...

Wow, it seems that 9-11 is still looming! With the demise of "Jestno more" the fixed wing side of flying is slow to recover from bad management and terrorism. The good news is attrition and lack of new blood; combined with, an ever increasing demand for air travel will result in eventual pilot openi...
