Re: Telemedicine for medical renewal

Just because TC says it’s ok, you’ll want to think twice before using this service. Not having the stamp in your book has proved troublesome outside of Canada, and it’s not like you can even go to your account on the TC website to prove your medical is done, since they are usually a year to 18 month...

Manitoba government contemplates privatizing province-run air ambulances, water bombers

Re: Execaire is hiring for the Challenger in Winnipeg

I asked around, and yes. They have 3 Challengers in YWG now. Apparently this job is one of the best in Winnipeg, or Canada for that matter. People stay forever, but it's hard to break in, and not very easy to find any info on.

I've heard that they will accept less than the minimum requirements in the job posting for the right person.

Not sure on any other details though.

Re: Have questions for YYZ Tower? Ask them here!

How about a ground question from a corporate jet? We are parking at Skyservice, and lately we've noticed that when we land on Rwy 05 clearing at H3 or rwy 23 clearing at F, we are always told to taxi onto Rwy 15L and then taxi up to T, right turn on E then into EA. In the past we always used to come...

So... lets say I'm zipping along at FL410 doing .83, how do you figure out your transition speed in KIAS when ATC askes "C-GXXX, what will your transition speed be in descent today?"

Looking for Video

Anyone know where I can find the video of the Hawker that landed gear up in Las Vegas a few years ago?

Thanks
