Kind of sounding like a broken record here but I hope the public is aware of this example: Jazz claims that there is a pilot shortage.....a friend of mine has just under 3000 hours/1500 PIC/1000Multi PIC ATPL and he told me that he won't be applying to Jazz. Not enough pay and to work for a company ...

The pay is like that because many think that " i just need to get some time and experience......and then the NEXT company will pay me more. Company's LOVE this mentality from pilots. Saves them money when people chase hours/airplanes. Next thing you know Jazz WILL be paying 35 K a year to start and ...

bob sacremeno means thatu cant even attempt to write the atpl's without 750 hrs...so how can u be hired with 500 hrs when they want the atpl exams written. only of course if they didnt mean IATRA.

Apparently...by this summer, all aircraft required to have two pilots(in the flight manual) and aircraft requiring two pilots in a company ops manual will allow u to log co-pilot time one for one. Not 100% on the exact date that this will come into effect.

Hey I also read through the GS Manual front to back. And then went through EVERY question in the Aerocourse third/fourth edition. Wrote the Saron last friday. I went through aerocourse workbook 3rd and new(4th edition) Saw 75/80 questions in the aerocourse book that were on my saron.
Studied for 4 days(4 hrs a day)
Samra next week.

could it be because during low airspeed flight....and if u have the engines at the same power setting, and since a 310 does not have counter rotating props like a 325 CR or 350, there is more airflow going over that portion of the right wing then on the left due to the down ward blade on the right e...

What the hell is going on....I keep hearing about people quitting there recently. Management....get it together.....stop looking around at things to blame it on...pretend your in a circular room with a giant mirror all around.....then, open your eyes and u should be able to find the possible problem...

True, some people do leave on good terms but the majority were all preventative. Both companies may have the same number of people leaving but compare the numbers to the amount of people at either company and the percentage is greater at Sunwest. Then again, is having a high turnover really that bad...
