Re: After being out of aviation, how would someone sell them

grass is greener on the other side as they say. Have you ever considered that you may be the issue? Take pride in what you do everyday, and maybe it won't be boring? Do you think it will be any different in an Airplane? do you think flying airplanes is all fun and games? You are not the first one to...

Re: Your job to foreigners?

It is actually true Canadian pilots aren't willing to take these positions. Canadian pilots have demonstrated a lack of work ethic and poor attitude. Proof of my argument steams that if you need to be on here complaining about this issue, you are the issue.

Re: Government subsidized training in Ontario

The truth is, there are many pilots on the market looking for jobs, very few are hireable... most lack work ethic and proper attitude. There is no shortage of jobs, there is a shortage of good people.

An employee stock option (ESO) is commonly viewed as a complex call option on the common stock of a company, granted by the company to an employee as part of the employee's remuneration package.[1] Regulators and economists have since specified that "employee stock options" is a label that refers to...

Actually these guys will have more money then Westjet did when they started. These guys are all Cathey pacific and have the knowledge to do it.

Everything negative that is being said about Jetlines here has no grounds. To be honest all of you are scared that your pay checks are in jeopardy.

Re: Algonquin air

I actually do not see anything wrong with the candidate paying his PPC. PPC should be done with TC, and the pilot paying owns it, and can leave when ever he wants with no hard feelings to go work for who ever he wants. Same goes for 737, a320 and bigger. As a professional contractor a PPC is a inves...

Re: Aircraft insurance annual costs ( Beaver/206 amphibian)

a Beaver on floats operating commercial operation cost around $80,000 a year up front payment with a radial engine 500 plus hour pilots. The time of owning a DHC2 to fly around 2 or 3 hours a day are over. You better fly or u die.

Everyone bitching, just go get it done right, like everyone else. If you feel like challenging TC go ahead, nothing wrong with that either.

Re: TC will not issue me an ATPL-H, because of aircraft type

Not all military aircraft have civilian certification, and therefore a type cannot be issued if such aircraft was used. It is important that for TC to see an aircraft that is certified for civilian operations if you wish to hold a civilian ATPL. As many of you may know military pilots are just that,...

Re: Is anyone hiring these days?

Pilots have piss poor attitudes, and usually are mismatched with the operators outlook on life. There are LOTS of jobs for pilots, just very few with the right attitude. A pilot has to prove himself every single time he switches a job. Pilots think the magic CPL or ATPL exempts them from trust build...

Regardless of the choice, it wont make a difference, The education you receiver isn't always what is needed. Hard for me to believe you need 4 years of school to do dispatch, there are 12 month courses. I think this is a classic case of one thinking school guarantees anything, well it will for sure ...

Re: Legality and Law interpertation of CARS on Mounting Came

I've flown with a few external cameras, STC'd and not. I had an STC for this one. Vibrated like crazy and produced noticeable yaw when it turned. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww283/propsink/DSC05124.jpg Then I had a Contour HD that was stuck on with 3M adhesive. It is somewhere at the bottom ...

Legality and Law interpertation of CARS on Mounting Camera

Hey Guys, The new era of small cameras like Go Pro HD, CountorHD and others are making there way into aviation. I also have one and I would like to mount it on the plane I fly. I know mounting it inside the cockpit is legal, just like mounting a PDA or IPAD mount. As longest it is not permanent modi...
