Great photo!.. I like when they appear candid and not everyone looking at the camera.
The water rudders don't seem to match....any reason for that?
Thanks

Re: Norseman question...
Hello all... many thanks for the input. "nobody has said you couldn't so in true Norseman fashion its worth a try" .... I like that. "Maybe the pilot stuck around for a cup of tea before taking off" .... yup...that's exactly what happened  Anyway...here's the narrative; "SETTIN' UP" The three ...

Re: Norseman question...
Thanks... the idea was to depict a fictional Norseman departing Stanley Lake in Idaho...(nice mountains in the background) after having dropped off three men and camping gear. The consideration is with the lake being a mile long and at 6500 asl could they all come back out on the same trip? Painting...

Norseman question...
...more research for a painting.... can anyone give some idea on what sort of load (if any) a Norseman (600 hp) might be able to depart with from a mile long lake at 6500 ASL? Let's say light headwind at 10C.
sorry...I have no access to manuals or performance references

External loads...canoes...any photos?
Hello all...didn't want to hijack the two ongoing threads with this request. For my own use, as reference for my artwork , I'm hoping to find photos of various external loads on various aircraft... in particular though, canoes on Norsemans, Beavers or the early Fairchilds. I have a pretty good selec...

Hi Diadem....not looking for any trouble here...still just wondering why no one has asked the military if this "diversion" may have been a threat to assets or facilities in the Indian Ocean. It seems that a home computer flightsim and a sign off phrase are more important news. But since you asked.."...

Hi Tim...nice work..a unique approach to painting.....having a little trouble with this though (from your website) "Due to the high resolution image created, every Giclée Print is an original piece of art. This is what holds the paintings value. Even if your painting is destroyed through some unfort...
