Re: "New" TC sticker (IFR validity changes)

If i wasn't getting a PPC from my company, would I have to go out to a flight school and renew my rating in the sim sti...

Re: When will the madness stop?
The cost of training is not the issue. Regardless of the price of training, the same 2 guys in the pointy end of the plane are responsible for the safety of everyone onboard. 35k is a mind-blowing number to accept some of that responsibility. That's all I'm saying. The 50k for training just makes it...

When will the madness stop?
I know this has all been said before, but..... MOST of the wages pilots are being paid is absolute BS (No, not the top dog captains). Is there really any incentive for anyone to consider going into aviation these days? Ya sure, if you do it for the money, don't get into it. But these days, some pilo...

Re: C-FNET C172S Investigation Report
Friends that fly with their pilot friends generally want to see the 'stall'. My guess is a power on stall with a nasty wing drop, and obviously an out of whack C of G for recovery. Whatever happened, it is unfortunate. RIP to all.

This letter from a passenger is pure BS. If left and right seat are both females, who cares? They pass all the same tests as all of us, and they are fit for the job. Carry on idiot passenger...

Re: Kenn Borek Antarctic Cause/Speculation Thread
it is strange that they crashed at 13000'... oxygen could have definitely been a factor. It was reported that they descended abruptly down a couple thousand feet, and then back up to 13000, just before airspeed read zero. Maybe the crew realized they were starting to feel the effects of hypoxia, des...

Re: Plane missing in Antarctica
Bob has to be one of the smartest individuals I've ever met. He knows his stuff, simple as that. He has been studying emergencies and analyzing situations for years, and theres no doubt in my mind that he made the absolute best decision(s) during the flight. If there was a problem with the plane, Bo...
