That's a ridiculous requirement. Probably thought up by some unnamed bureaucrat in TC. Probably not even a MD.

List of air tankers

This is a list of the air tankers operating in the USA and Canada (not their bases)

The list also contains US choppers and support aircraft.

The mystery to me is what Westjet is thinking. The point of PASCO taking over the flying was to do routes that were too thin for the Q. In any case they are having trouble crewing the present schedule so how is adding more routes going to help ? In YXH (Medicine Hat) they are complaining that they ...

Re: Rise Air 705

I’m guessing around 50-60/month. May vary month to month but that’s probably a good average. Wow. In the Norcanair days (pre 1989) we used to do the same kind of work mix, same days, Convair 640 or F27. Normal was timex every 30 and 90 days, which gave good time off. Yearly was around 1100+ hours.

There was a 1972 book, "Air Attack on Forest Fires" by Alexander Linkewich that was the only thing that I can think of.
BC Forestry also had a manual in the seventies.

Today is the first time without any problems. I wasn't able to post until today.
Could read posts, sometimes.
I kind of enjoyed reading posts from 2006 and 2009. Not many posters left from those days.
