Re: The election is on in Ontario.

Icebound, the war measures act including the Canadian Wheat Board should have expired with the expiration of the second world war. It was setup to prevent farmers from profiting from the British during war time by allowing only a single buyer of grain which set the price. That is a very weird read ...

Re: The election is on in Ontario.

I believe a PC Government would work well with Ottawa - and further improve Ontario. I am sick of the lefto-fascist idiots running this country. I would be interested in the definition of "improve". Also, "improve" for whom? And is there anything more fascist that imposing ideological edicts.... fo...

The internet is abuzz about that flight. The one the passengers supposedly regained control of, and that had to be shot down. Re: B.C. votes to dump the HST

This is historic. This is terrific. .......... The public......................... wants the government to CUT SPENDING! No they don't. They just don't want to pay for it, but still want.... and indeed NEED.... the services. This is the model that destroyed California and it will destroy BC and any...

Does anybody have the link to this particular interview.....

A couple of days ago... maybe up to a week.... a particularly obnoxious talk-show host did an on-air rant about f#@king Canada and f#@king Canadians... The CBC tried to get an interview with him but his handlers refused. However, he apparently called up the CBC himself, and basically redid the rant....

Re: CBC asks: Tell us what the CBC means to you

Good point you'd think for a billion dollars someone would be watching or listening, the lefty's must think money is grown on trees. We have public health care that needs money, social services and you want to put it into the CBC..good choice! Actually.... a lot of money comes out of thin air..... ...

Re: CBC asks: Tell us what the CBC means to you

We do keep forgetting that "democracy" means the inclusion of everybody and not just "majority rules" as many of you would wish. That means that, even if ratings don't match Dancing With the Stars, or whatever, there is still room for programming that reaches a minority of listeners/viewers. Having ...

Yes. A VAT tax makes sense.

Well then, lets fire those coal power plants back up and get back in our SUVs immediately. What's the use of social responsibility to our planet. Releasing mass amounts of CO2 couldn't possibly affect our atmosphere. Not yet. I'm going to wait until I see how this new information is incorporated in...
