My experience was very similar to Bravowhiskey. They're sending the email to people who are successful in the intervew and medical process. In the past these people would get a course date, but since there are not currently firm course dates we have to wait around in a hiring pool until theres a spo...

I received the pool email too! I hope I don't have to wait around until next fall, but I doubt that November and January will be the last courses until then as previously mentioned. how long after the interview do they usualy call you for medical ? They tell you that it will be 6 to 8 weeks in the interview, but it's my understanding that if you're successful you usually hear much sooner than that (within 4 weeks). I'm curious about the schedule at Canadain North. Is it resonable for someone to commute?? Also, are standby and jumpseat available with other carriers? The answer to that is it depends...where are you commuting from and what fleet. If you're on the Dash it's typically 8 day pairings twice a month ...
