Re: City Centre Medevac Study
Sending a letter to her is just not worth it on this issue. Her husband is Councillor Henderson. She supports the closure of the city centre. I am not surprised at the reply.
What you all need to do is start flooding the NDP and Wild Rose with your concerns and her reply.

Re: 40+ Year Edmonton flight department moving to Calgary
When you don't give a company a reason to stay here, then they move to a place that makes sense. It is that simple. Edmonton has a long history of this, and this is just another notch in that successful business plan of make everyone leave.

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
It is obviously in the Political Arena now. " Skully ", you're living in Edmonton and should make your position known to affect the vote. Sherwood Park is not Edmonton, therefore I cannot vote. I made my position known though. I should be more specific, I cannot vote on city issues. I voted on the ...

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
I have to say this thread is exactly the problem. Tom is asking questions that could help, and he doesn't get answers. People can agree that a mistake was made, but correcting it takes people to do it. Changing a decision takes work.
Maybe Tom is getting answers in private?

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
I used to never believe in horoscopes. Mine today said that I may be in for a big change today, and that it could be a great one. Big things are in store. I always hated the name Mark. It sounds like a dog with a hairlip, Mark Mark Mark. However, I'd rather have the lottery win than a new name. I th...

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
Well, by sitting and whining post decision, then the nail is further driven into the coffin to complete any hope of developing an industry here. Instead of holding people to account for promises post decision, continuing to whine is just like using Charles as a spokesperson. Simply put, a bad idea t...

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
Ok, I thought this thread is about Villeneuve and how the City and others continue to make aviation a bad thing. I didn't think this would go into yet another discussion on the City Centre Airport.
This explains a lot.

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
Yes, I've been to Detroit several times. It is not Detroit. I fail to see the correlation though, please enlighten me. :) I agree that there hasn't been a vocal private or a commercial pilot on council, but there are some in adminsitration. I also know for a fact based on discussion with many develo...

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
. The airport was quickly labelled a place where rich men would keep their aircraft and that the benefit of the airport to the city of Edmonton had run out. Getting the public opinion on side with the airport is paramount, but it has been tried. If anyone has any ideas on tackling this issue, by al...

Re: City of Edmonton continues to screw aviation
Hello all. I am a long time lurker here, but this topic makes me want to speak up. I am as angry as the next about the joke that is Edmonton's aviation industry. Promises made during the fake discussion of 2009 have been ignored, assurances destroyed, and now even the authority is alienating allies ...
