Flying with the KB has to be the worst. You will get that lag. I use an Saitek X45 HOTAS. Works good. Sometimes I'd rather have a Yoke/pedals, but it does the job rather well.

IIRC there was a small amount of looting in Toronto during the blackout, not to this scale tho.

And last I heard DART is ready to go, just waiting for the US to request it.

I enjoyed it! Went Friday night, and watched the CF-18 come in, she did a couple low passes before a full stop. The Lancaster is a beauty, we watched it take off Sat afternoon. The Sea King even landed on the wheels.

I'm also from Barrie, indeed a scary thing. Kempenfelt bay is very busy, especially on a Saturday afternoon. Thank god the collision didn't occur over a beach or pack of boats, the outcome could have been much worse.

I can't recall exactly what it was (was a while ago now) But he went through the story of it being on a 747 and the other aircraft and then sitting at TC. When he was registering (Re-registering maybe?) his heli a friend of his there mentioned C-FFUN was available and would he like to have it. "Damn...

The local Barrie/Simcoe foodbank asked the Live 8 organizers if they can place boxes at the entrances and ask the concert goers to donate a non perishable food item, for the local homeless as their currently supply of food consists of a few cans of tuna, Geldof and the local organizers said no "beca...

Any ex-Wardair-ers remember the 747-200 C-FFUN? After the company closed it's doors it was leased to Nationair. Apprently Max went onboard just out of curiosity and he wept on how poor the condition of the aircraft interior was kept. Image was everything and no matter what he took pride in his flee...

I have the needed books etc. The one site that was given to me is aviationspot.com. But I was looking for more. Due to working shift work, its difficult for me to regularily attend a classroom groundschool, and 1 or 2 nights a week is a little slow for me, where I can spend a few hours a night on it...
