Is this some kind of scheme of filling your void of pilot manpower with a contractual agreement of Air Canada's current hiring or are you sincerely gonna hire...

If they didn't offer you employment within 6 months (or is it 1 yr?) from your pool date you will have to do the whole process again.

Re: Air Canada Pool
If a position is frozen for 4 years how come new hires will be eligible to bid when the next equipment bid opens up? Lets use an example. A new hire RP just got on the line, bids for a 320 FO position and gets awarded. Does that mean the RP is still frozen on his/her type for 4 years or does he/she ...

Re: Air Canada Interviews
New hires will be YZ. Guessing E190 FO and LCC 319 FO. It's certainly conceivable there could be new hires going to 767 FO in the LCC. Know more in the next 2 weeks. If selected for mainline, could there be an involuntary transfer to the LCC further down the road? And can someone confirm that there...

Re: More foreign pilots on work permits elsewhere
Hi Gilles, "Rumor has it acpa has blocked company's idea to have acpa pilots train and check the skyregional guys. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in terms of sky's ability to recruit and train that many guys in such a short time span." from: http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic...

Re: Sky Regional and Embraer jobs
It must be an insult to have to sit beside and hear a senior captain talk about his career making the big bucks flying the 777 the world over and now the EMJ/Q400 is just a hobby and a third or fourth paycheque for him.
