Re: How to get rid of ACPA?

True, but there will be 194 more pilots on the street that otherwise would've been protected with full pay for 6 months. Might be. Can't keep laying off and also be ready for a quick recovery. There isn't going to be a quick recovery. Even if a vaccine came out today that was 100% effective it woul...

Re: In need of a 9/11 history lesson

How bad it’s going to be is yet to come; the country isn’t going to stay shutdown for 1.5 years.

I was flying with a skipper he other day who was hired in 2001 as an RP on the 340 and he was laid-off for 6 months.

I’m guessing 10-20 - I don’t think they’ll be in the 30-50 range. Training report shows 330RP and 220 spots now.

A strike now would be illegal.

Im just curious what the rush was to get the TA signed at Encore before May 14th? Couldn't the vote for the TA have been decided after the vote for the 1 list, then you would have a leg to stand on.

I’d imagine some kind of insurance would come into play for a problem this big. I’m sure Boeing has something written up for scenarios like this. But you’re right, the airlines will be getting their ounce of blood by the time the dust settles. IMHO
