Re: Socialized Bidding (Rouge)

So you're not even on the affected plane but feel you deserved a CBA change because you were "working for it". Formula guys, who have been on the property for up to 20 years, went from 85 hour summer DBMs to 70 overnight. Some will never recover their losses heading into retirement and needing thei...

Re: Record revenues vs 4 year flat pay

Says the guy who accepted the shitty 4 year flat pay to get into AC last month... Barking up the wrong tree there Sherlock. It’s says the guy who turned down a Jan course for that exact reason. The guy you’re referring to, AC is lucky to have despite the 4 year starting pay. I’m not sure I’m unders...

Re: One list

Grandfather the whole thing! Pilots on property now joined under the precedent, yes. But there is no benefit in continuing this silly carrot chasing perk. Carrying your seniority is only a benefit because you get to bump experienced WJ OTS pilots once you arrive. No line cutting= Guys/gals will thin...

Re: Think carefully before you make your next move

I can't imagine and better time in recent history to negotiate. Even the most pessimistic, demoralized defeatist can see there is a massive upside looming on the industry. Don't sell the farm (again) because you think it's going to change flow to AC. AC is dependent on Jazz delivering pilots regardl...

Re: Westjet mainline bases for OTS hires

Thanks for the info. Not too surprising. I'm not sure a YYZ commute is viable.

Westjet mainline bases for OTS hires

As someone considering the move to WJ mainline, I was wondering if some insiders could provide me with some rough estimations of timelines within the WJ one list senority system. It is my understanding that most if not all 737FO postings will be in YYZ for the next while. Based on the current mainli...

Re: ATPL EXAMS

Difficult compared to what? I recently did them both. I used a combination of Aerocourse and sharper edge. Aerocourse was much more helpful and actually had questions right out of it. Study hard and don't expect to find all the questions online or in a book. On the SAMRA I counted about 50 met quest...
