Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

I interviewed with 4000TT, 2000MPIC, 400 PIC(Q400) and an aviation diploma. I emailed the recruiter about 2 weeks ago asking for an update and was told that my application was still under process. They called my references last week and I had an offer on Friday.

Just noticed that there is no pilot posting on the website... I am assuming they still need pilots since a few are leaving to big red. Does AT have enough applicants or what?

Re: Make Northern Ontario flying safe again!

Unfortunately in this industry, a few pilots do not realize and respect the gravity of conducting flights that way. This is a human factors issue, that has been a cause for many accidents. I missed flying into a reserve, 2 minutes later a PC-12 gets in, I just hoped that they didnt do anything stupi...

There are 2 tiers for F/Os: One pays 30k/year if you have less than 1500TT and 500MPIC and the other 35k/year if you have over 1500TT and 500MPIC. Plus 2 cents/sm ...

Re: Keeping white shirts white

LOL I am so glad I found this thread. I've used the dish soap/ toothbrush technique but it takes A LOT of scrubbing. I just throw some bleach in when I wash them once a week and scrub the collars once a month.

Re: Pilots and Alcohol

If they did that routinely, maybe thought they could get away with it. So, out of habit, didn't feel the need to call in sick. Either way, quite irresponsible.
