The CPL flight test guide says that for the enroute exercise gps is not permitted, and that foreflight is explicitly forbidden for the diversion exercise. Once you pass your flight test it's up to you; very few people that I know don't use a tablet for navigation, but you might consider it wise to ...

C-172 2300 lbs 97 va 1950 lbs 89 va 1600 lbs 80 va I tried to find the answer but the POH, ground up, ect gave me no answer to why Va increases with weight So I asked my instructor, got some crazy explanation that made no sense to me.. said he doesnt know an easier way to explain it... For ground school, i was told to find the answer, when to do you HAVE to file IFR. Obviously the smart answer is always. However, my understanding is, if you are departing from an uncontrolled airport, and flying in uncontrolled airspace, you only need a flight itinerary. Any one confirm or correct ...

I love my A20's got them a month ago... quiet, comfortable, bluetooth is excellent, i use the aux port for music all the time. Cord can get in the way some times.
only complaint is i will the main cord was the curl cord, not the straight one they use.

Generally not how it works. If your working toward your PPL, expect to be paying full rental of the plane and paying the instructor.
