Well whatever the truth is, and who knows, these people are practiced at telling lies, it's good that CTA is acting to keep fiascos like this out of Canadian skies and protecting the public from losing their money or worse.

Re: 7F and 5T Codesharing flights.
As a punter I wouldn't be too happy if I bought an expensive seat on a reputable scheduled carrier like First Air or Canadian and then find myself travelling with some ratty tatty charter outfit of questionable competence. Genuine code sharing has advantages and purposes for the partners but it seem...

I say good luck to them, it's more and more a free world.
If this was a Canadian enterprise doing the same, giving jobs to Canadians you wouldn't be whining.

Re: 1 in 50 FA rule compromises safety. TC Sunwing test
I agree absolutely that this exemption compromises safety. What is the point of a rule on such a vital issue if there is an exemption.
The first accident where a passenger dies in an attempted evacuation with 1:50 is going to have some interesting legal implications I would think.

Here's one for the conspiracy theorists.
The military drone launch/recapture site transmissions on top of the hill above the crash site somehow interfered with the ILS signal ?
There is precedence for this.

I feel sure that the cause of this accident has been known for a long time, after all the investigators must have everything they need, CVR, FDR, usable wreckage, CARS and military recording tapes etc. Some trial radar approaches were flown by military helicopters for calibration and training. The d...

Very temporary contract with Can North while they get new aircraft and crews on line.
If you want some prospects and expect to be treated well, better off with Can North and avoid being dumped as soon as Flair no longer wants or needs you.
Track record says it all.
