My references were called after being offered a course date. As far as I know, that is the standard.

Your information is accurate. However, that doesn't mean they won't run a course at the last minute if they need to. My course was put together about a month and a half before the start date.

Passed the assessment and I'm now waiting for the first interview. How about yourself?

All in all I thought the assessment was neither easy nor difficult. The audio recording portion was the most difficult for me.
