Re: The Return to Normal?

Why is it that it has been so easy to send our young to an early grave in times of war, including through mandatory conscription against their will, with those unwilling being branded as cowards, yet when we seek to allow our young to have a healthy economic future by subjecting our elders to a mod...

“In the UK , they calculate that those under the age of 65 have faced the same risk over the past few months from coronavirus as they would have faced from driving 185 miles a day - the equivalent of commuting from Swindon to London.” In Germany, there have been 7260 deaths reported as of today, wi...

Re: Covid 19 testing for those of us still working

Heliian, absolutely agree. However, I find it on both sides of the cockpit. Especially irritating if I've come across a skipper acting as a tough guy, pre-covid. However, depends on the company you work for and your respective CBA. I’m not sure what difference the company you work for makes, or wha...

I hold my nose whenever I read “Lord” Black ... A convicted felon who along with his big brother felt himself entitled to $56M from Dominion Stores employees’ pension fund. He denounced Canadian citizenship (which he fully expects to get back once the great unwashed forget about his BS) for the vani...

Numbers from the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer - https://www.pbo-dpb.gc.ca/en/covid-19 Appears that we are headed for a budgetary deficit of 5.2% of GDP. Similar to 1992-93 levels. DEBT/GDP ratio projected at 38.1%. In 1995-96 debt was two-thirds of GDP. Interesting to note that in 1946...

Re: Coronavirus Numbers

Maybe the Media and Government can start reporting Covid related deaths honestly. Co-morbidity is usually the cause cause of death, not just Covid. The Doctors explained --clearly-- that most people are dying because of underlying factors that are sometimes complicated by Covid to a degree. Interes...

Bajan pilot is correct. (as usual) :)
Air Ontario invested a fair amount in the 90’s engineering a quick change full cargo mod for the Classic. Fire suppression, the works.
I believe that Voyageur now owns the rights to the mod.

Some of us aren't retired. You're likely feeling little inconvenience other than passing on a golf game or two. I and my contemporaries will be paying for this long after you're gone. Guess what? New numbers: Germany requests 130 billion in compensation from China for the costs associated with the Pandemic . First request there will be more . This is not (yet anyway) an official government request. It came from the German tabloid newspaper Bild. It’s an itemized invoice for €149B or £130B. ...
