Good advise much appreciated but still a lot to weigh The AMO is like my baby but a colicky one at that ! No decision yet but something has to give I will keep you all posted. Is there actually a market for AMO's out there ?

yes its go big or go home if I were 40 I would peruse the flight school / commercial stuff but at 62 humm is it worth the trouble ? Probably not

Good advice for sure but in reality how many pilots are actually registering them properly ? I have installed 2 and both owners lost the paper work and just fly around blissfully unaware that the ELT wont do what it supposed to do . we must have taken the same exam 68 % and I was passing all the sample exams at 95% + The exam had nothing to do whatsoever with the TC syllabus bizarre questions that seem to be written by people that have northing to do with aviation at all there were some good quality helicopter related questions...

It was approved through Ottawa with engineering in Toronto , lots of paper work and research , re do the manual , redo the tachometer red line and placard the aircraft with the new max red line limit. Plus the fact that the aircraft was flying for over 10 years in the US with that engine helped, esp...

Reducing the RPM RED LINE to 2475 will reduce the HP of the O290 to 108 HP similar to the O235 and I will be approaching TC with this option I also have the option of replacing the O 290 with an 0 235 or the old favorite Owner Maintenance Category .
