Re: Air Georgian Cadet Program
Hi, We have a PICUS program in place at Air Georgian and we will make every effort to help our pilots build the required time. As for the last point, we do not want to 'keep Cadets from going to AC'. This would upset AC and would defeat the purpose of the program which is to encourage people to join...

AGL has made no adjustment to R1 wages. There was a change to benefits due to the merger which resulted in a net gain for 85% of R1 employees, each employee is unique based on their prior and new opt-in/opt-out choices.

The bond starts on your date of hire, which is the first day of ground school. All training is completed in the simulator.co-joe wrote: Is that sim or "on wing"?

Re: Air Georgian Cadet Program
I just noticed that a new deadline was posted for the 15th of this month. Does that mean that there was a lack of qualified candidates that had applied? and for those that had already applied, if selected, when exactly can they expect to hear from H.R.? Unfortunately, our company website was underg...

Re: Air Georgian Cadet Program
For those people that already have their private license this program would not be the best fit for you, stick with what you are doing. How come? When I emailed you guys at the email address on the page and asked some of my questions, I was told it wouldn't be a problem. All I would have to do is c...

The system Chief Pilot manages the type and/or base CP's. Troy is now flying one of the Corp Jets so the B1900 is beeing directly managed by an Assistant but we no longer have a Charter Chief Pilot. Minor change due to Troy being more involved in the corp jet side.

Re: Air Georgian Cadet Program
We are going to try and answer some of the questions that have come up but we would really suggest to the recent posters to go back to the OP or the AGL website and review the information that is available. This is not a pay for training program in as much as those relate to really paying for a job....

The cadet program could work out really well for some people. If you are seriously considering investing 60k to work for ggn you should probably do some research of your own and talk to the pilots that work there before you do so. It might not sway your decision but it will give you a good idea of ...

You should be upgraded in 36 - 40 months so you will have 700 plus hours PIC at transition time. After flying for AGL for 4 years you are offered a position on the NEXT ground school AC runs so if they are not hiring you just wait as you are next in line. There is no contract with AGL or AC.
