Although 80 hrs sounds like a lot of work and the income tax charged on the east coast is insane, and the destinations are crappy, and the weather sucks, and the cost of living seems to match the high income tax, and PAL dosnt even give travel passes... it might be nice to live in St.John's

I have been sending resumes and calling these guys for 3 years. Granted this is the first time ive met the MPIC requirment but I havnt heard a thing. Maybe next year.

My wife will be spending the next 6 years in the UK at university. It'd be real swell if I could carry on my career while i was there. What, if any, chances are there for a Canadian ATPL holder with 6 multi crew hours of working in the UK?

Paying for health is pretty scary at any age. I just had an X-ray..forgot my health card ..would have cost me over $100 all said and done. They didnt even solve my problem. (fish bone caught...hospital didnt have the proper tools to take it out.) But thats for another thread.

I have never paid for training beyond the IFR, but i'd do a training bond..its simple security.
Maybe those guys are lucky they arent working for him.
