It's fixed!!! had to change my RAM!

when I try to turn it on it makes some small crunching sounds and the disc drive seems to make some noise but the fan doesn't make any noise like it used to.

Also the little light that says the hard drive is working doesn't light up at all.

Nothing happens but the little light that says the power is on comes on and the little light that says the the laptop is plugged in comes on but nothing else seems to work.

What is wrong with my laptop. any suggestions?
