It exempts candidates for the flight test from the written exam requirement; it doesn’t exempt applicants for the rating.
I see what you did there. 😆

Where Is the lie?
What?
My thoughts exactly! I have many Pilot "buddies" on social media or on my phone contact list, that I will fire off a random inappropriate meme at an inappropriate time, whom I haven't actually talked to for many years, and wouldn't hesitate to call on if needed.

Are these numbers accurate for how much of the Jazz fleet is currently active ? Where is the inactive fleet parked ?? (info from the Planespotters site)
I've heard North Bay is a "boneyard" for the older RJ's.

Re: The Return to Normal?

Well..here’s the “kick in the nuts”, Corona Virus mimics the “common cold”, do we/have we.. a “vaccination” for the “common cold”? Answer is “NO”, but we do know that washing your filthy hands several times a day with “soap and water”, and not touching your face (eyes, nose, and mouth) with your “fi...

Except half the population won’t have 2 nickels to rub together after months of unemployment/severe recession. Maybe the airlines will offer free flights? British Airways did in 1991! I flew Business Class from Mirabel to London for free, and they even paid for one nights accommodation! ...

The Trump announcement (cancel all flights to/from Europe - except the UK) is going to kick the shit out of the industry.
Maybe, but maybe it’ll be short lasting, whereas our “ball-less” leader will make it fester!

I was always taught..ailerons neutral prior to entering a spin. The C-150's were easy to spin, but the C-172's took a little persuasion to enter a spin cleanly...I remember right at the point of stall pulling back on whatever elevator control was left and bumping on, then off a few hundred RPM momen...

Umm yahh kids...be sure to lower full flap prior to impact...and be ready for the huge change in control forces due to the rapid loss of airspeed when you flare with the full flaps and no thrust! Practice full flap dead stick landings to an actual landing at your local airstrip! If you don't underst...

Stranded Onboard...Again!

Just wondering why on earth would the passengers be kept onboard the aircraft in Rome for 6 hours in a sweltering cabin?
There may be a good reason, but I don’t know what that would be, maybe custom issues? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just asking.

Yes, you can totally do your IFR on a single engine, and it can then be up graded to a Class 1 once your company gives you your ride on a twin engine later down the road. Flight schools will never tell you that though.
