go to costco and ask for whay again? a molded ear bud, and it has a boom mike? Whats the cost? You need to buy the Telex 5x5 and then go to costco to get a moulded ear insert made. The Telex 5x5 comes with a head band with a generic ear insert for one ear. The moulded one from Costco fits nicely in...

Because it leaves you with only brake accumulator pressure and no nose wheel steering. Also it's not necessary for anything but showing off and proving to yourself how great you are. If you get stopped short and have to restart to go the rest of the way you make yourself and your airline look like ...

Just want to make sure I understand this in a nutshell. So I am leaving say FL300 at mach .75, sake of arguement the ASI is showing 220, when given at transition speed of say 270, I'd maintain the decent at .75 until my ASI reaches 270, once I reach 270 I maintain that. I don't get to do this with ...

I have used both extensively. David Clark definitely 2 :smt023 . Bose, 1 :smt023 . The Bose are great as long as the batteries last. When they go dead, you would be better off wearing tin cans on your ears, when the batteries go dead in the DC's it is still a normal DC. I have had the 10-13x for 10 ...

The NG is capable of doing autolands on a Cat 1 ILS. So are you saying you would elect to do a cat 1 ILS autoland IMC? How do you know the signal is protected from other aircraft and vehicles, or that you have an alternate power source? Autolands are only done to Cat 1 signals, on Cat 2 runways und...

Re: A couple questions

On the -800 do you turn off the trim air before shutdown and turn it on after start up? If you don't h...
