Re: ATPL Application process tips
Greetings all. Sorry If I may sound a bit ignorant in regards to this subject. Now I know TC has changed a dump-load of regulations in recent months. I finally decided to look step by step into the few logbooks I have. I had a question in regards to the process in general. I've unfortunately jumped...

Re: Up Coming Interview
Why would I be denied a position because I'm responsible with my money? Going in to debt for a suit to wear once is not good. I do not want to be grouped with all those that owe $1.65 per $1.00 made and shouldn't be denied a position. Think of the suit as an investment for your future. You spend mo...

It may also surprise you to know that most with 15 plus years of service have no desire to go to the 'other' side, so your question of why is everyone leaving to AC is a mute point.
Not trying to be a dick, but the word is moot.

Unless you are going to go lug bags around, 360 hours isn't gonna get you a job really quick. Look up north, like way up north, and you might find a good job with quick time on the ramp

I may be wrong here, and honesty too lazy to go search for it in the cars. But don't you have to be listed as an owner of the plane, so you can do licences on that plane, free lance style?

Would this still fall under the 50 hours in a multi type deal. Not needing a instructor rating, but I'm not sure about the PPC?

Re: Aviation program at sault college, Ontario.
The argument of "government paid for my flight training" from Soo or Confed or whatever is misleading. The student still has to pay tuition, which is quite high. Talking to some coworkers who are grads of those various programs, none paid significantly less than another who did their training sans ...

Re: Aviation program at sault college, Ontario.
No one is in their 6th year  There are some that are behind, but it is in no way the school's fault. Personally, I am on time, and a majority of my graduating year will be good to go by the end of the summer, latest. The people that fell behind are those that took time off when they should h...

Take what everyone says here with a grain of salt.

Re: What next after CPL/ME/IR ?
I'd like to address how the most dangerous pairing for a aircraft is two senior captains. So with that one guy who said that its unfair that the Captain has to be put with a person with 250 hours, I say this. 1. Just because you go buy a type rating does not mean you have a job, not in a long shot 2...

Re: What next after CPL/ME/IR ?
if ever I saw a resume from a 201 hour pilot with a boeing type rating I would throw straight into the garbage. Pay for your PPL? Check. Pay for your CPL? Check. Multi? Check. IFR? Check. Pay for a Type Rating? You're an evil, job stealing rich boy who doesn't deserve a second look. You're not fair...
