The way the industry is, I hope all prospective employees read this and know they can do better. the realist in me knows that isn...

Re: Pass fees

Air Canada never use to charge anything, they absorbed the taxes for as many pilots as had jump seats. this meant leaving pilots behind due to being limited to the number of jumpseats. they took the issue to management and management solved the issue with offering all available seats, with the rider...

Re: "VALID" Group 1 IFR rating ( inlusive of the IPC - instrument proficiency check)

1900 is over 12500, pcc need not apply. dont know of any operators that run their K/A FO's with pcc's instead of ppc's. Employers look for someone smart rather then checking all the boxes, not waisting your money needlessly is smart. if you cant get a job in this industry now, its time to quit.

Re: This is NOT the aviation of 5 years ago

no LOA is going to be offered, either you fly that or you don't. also, LOA doesn't add to years of service for pay, all you do is keep your DOH your first 4 years pay is still the first 4 years that you work

funny hr name, I know a few that came out of there 5-10 years ago. they paid garbage and worked their employees like dogs. now their HR name is pragmatic. If there is 1 airline that starts to park airplanes because of a lack of pilots, I hope its them.
