Re: New NOTAM website - old site withdrawn

not sure why every pilot in Canada doesn't phone FSS and ask for all the notams at the applicable airports. after 45 min with each caller, something would have to change on their end

not sure who told you ZFW and Vref aren't used in the real world. All aircraft limitations should be known and memorised. Vref V1 V2 Venr are all calculated for every Sector, and re calculated if nessacary

Re: North Wright Airways 2019/2020

not sure why my IP address was blocked from this site, but for an airline pilot who knows little about computers. Is blocking an IP for speaking the truth the direction you want to go as a site? also, when I get to each new respective hotel, do I get a new IP?

Re: North Wright Airways 2019/2020

still a 2 year wait on the ramp at Tindi? considering they had a King Air flying around with 1 attitude indicator for a significant amount of time prior to losing that one and killing the crew. What do you base the statement that you have amazing captain's to learn from on? Tindi has a piss poor cul...

Re: Boeing Max.

if Canada requires all Max airplanes in their airspace to have aircrews who have demonstrated a MCAS recovery in the sim or be banned from the airspace you'll see all the majors in the US add it to their training

Im saying Air Canada aquiring Transat will require more crews at Air Canada. There was a statement that the merger would slow the hiring. I personally feel itll increase the hiring

Did Air Inuit spend 15m bringing a heavy lift helo from down south to hoist their duel otter off the ice? Every offstrip operation is gonna have snags, the forces recovery is the real joke

Re: No signs of slowing yet (Job Ads)

This board had 1 job add added to it every 6-9 months and required 5000hrs and a current Navajo PPC for the opportunity to interview for a position in YPL earning the cost of housing and $400/month in 2003.....when you say its slowing down, its not.

Re: 10 years ago today Colgan Air 3407

your suggestion that a pilot out of the Calgary flying club and one that comes through the Lufthansa cadet program at 250hrs are the same quality is laughable military pilots airmanship is shit at that level but they can survive combat
