Re: Northwestern Air Lease
I thought it was quite high as well. I don't meet the requirements posted but thought maybe I'd still have a chance. I've got around 2000 MPIC piston.

Re: The Dornier 228 Job Ad
It's a slower season up here this year, By yard work , they mean working freight in the yard... not gardening. If I had 200 hrs, I'd be all over this. 1) Learn how to move some REALLY awkward cargo to really neat places 2) 2 very interesting aircraft types 3) Whitehorse is an amazing city to live i...

Re: Chisel Charter
Thanks for the replies. I'm looking more for specific people to talk to and their contacts (pm only please) I don't like the runaround I get at TC. Everyone is always interested in helping me find the right person but only the guy that's on a 3 week holiday seems to be the man for the job.

Who is the correct person to chat with about this stuff? I know of people that have done this for quite some ti...

Re: King Air 90 Training
Thanks for all the replies, In keeping with the Colonels latest remarks, is there any other aircraft that is comparable to the King Air without all the gov't red tape as described above? Requirements: - Flights less than 500NM - All weather - Lower pilot workload is preferable - We are all experien...

Re: Bearskin (JV) pulls out of YKF/YOW
I hear they have some obstacles to over come before they can start running the metros on gravel in the north, a performance issue prohibiting their ability to operate them under 704 regs, my understanding is they have to operate them under 703 regs thus limiting the traffic loads to 9 passengers. J...

Re: Changing Careers to Aviation??..Great Video to watch
I am not quite in my 30s, though I am close. Every once in a while, I do see folks older than me consider switching careers to aviation--flying specifically. Being where I am right now, I cannot help but have mixed feelings for these people. On the one hand, aviation seems like an exciting career t...

Re: North Cariboo Air question..help please??
I've got 3000+TT, 2500MPIC Navajo. I'm very interested in moving my career to NCA however I do have a young family so wondering what I can expect for a starting salary and what could I expect after 5 years? The 32K salaries wouldn't really work out for me. I am interested in the Dash as a long term ...
