Re: Something happening at Sunwing?

Ah friend of mine that works at Sunwing told me that, the pilots must now have to do an European medical and will have to write all JAA Atpl exams in order to be able to fly over in Europe, he didn't know if they have a grace period or if they needed it for this summer.

Who can give you a float rating?

Hello all,

I have a question regarding getting a float rating. I have some people I know that own a float plane.
My question is who can sign off my float rating? Does it have to be TC? Or the person owning the plane after the necessary time of training?

Thanks

I find our interline is not that great. We do get some ID 90s with other carriers but no Zed with anyone. We get deals on TS flights and packages.

Now that Air Canada has started charging for the taxes like Westjet, and we are issued a e ticket, do we still need the captains to fill out the flight deck jump seat pass??

thanks

The CEO's plan is to have nothing but A330's by the end of 2012 but what he wants and what will be approved could be really different. We'll see. I doubt we'll have more A310s in the short term.

cheers,

Re: The new Canjet v3.0/Anti-ice is going on a boeing!

My question is, if Transat get small aircrafts, like the rumor is calling for, will Canjet survive? Is most of the work being done by Canjet for Transat?

Re: Being a smoker in the airlines.

Well I used to be a smoker. No problems really, you get use to having long breaks between smokes. The thing is that I use to spend all the spare time trying to sneak one between flights, the hassels of going through security. I'd spend all my time trying to figure out when I'd have my next smoke and...
