Mike,
You're spending an awful lot of time on avcanada for a guy getting paid 82 hours.
I would say "get back to work" but every bit of work you do cheapens and degrades our profession even further.
So maybe, just carry on then.

Because they have a whole team of marketing professionals who understand what their customers want/are willing to pay for? Or maybe one dude on the internet is picking up on a huge mistake they totally missed when they ordered millions of dollars worth of airplanes.

Re: sky regional airlines first officers E175 job add.
It sounds to me like a lot of these are jazz problems. I flew the 5 planes for 3 years and while they had their share of typical bombardier stuff, nothing being mentioned on here was ever an issue. The planes had HUDs when they got to sky. They actually had excellent dispatch reliability and on time...

Re: sky regional airlines first officers E175 job add.
Quote from above post, "And they're all garbage airplanes that everyone hates flying." What did that add to the conversation. It must cause you deep personal anguish to operate an fin that has SR in it's civil registration !!!!!! Just stating a fact. Ask any Q pilot at Jazz. Every one will tell you...

They say you need to write Embraer first officer, my point is why should you write Embraer since you only operate Embraers, if you apply at Sunwing would you write B737 FO position ?? Our industry is about precision and perception, the required standards should be observed at all levels. Actual quo...

neither is an arbitration ever going to be better than a negotiated agreement. This is not accurate. In a situation like this where WJ is so far behind the industry standard and so consistently profitable, and the company has conducted themselves in such bad faith, arbitration could very well favou...

As an Encore pilot close to flow i will gladly stay at encore a little while longer to have this swoop nonsense figured out properly as opposed to not fighting for what we ALL deserve. Sorry, you're suggesting that the ACPA pilots reduced to Zip should have quit instead of accept the lower wages? In an industry where just having a job was a godsend?
I think you're completely out of touch.

At the end of the day, try to portray a movie star image. I am not joking. From a multiple reject that certainly does not look like a movie star and certainly does not act like one. If you can fly, if you have a brain, sorry, not enough. I can imagine exactly how your interview must have gone.

Don't smoke. But I do know what the typical intake is. Seen it for myself (guys with good resumes turned down, minimal quals. hired), hear about it from my buddies who work there. so experts, give me a ''typical'' new hire profile. C'mon, spit it out. Nope, you certainly don't need widebody time to...

To answer your actual question, you get the same C4 benefits as jazz pilots. You also get a fairly comprehensive list of reciprocal jumpseat agreements. Now, can we go back to discussing why somebody would actually consider leaving jazz for sky because they dont like the classic? Then maybe we can s...

Re: Express Pilots VS Mainline Pilots
There are so many misconceptions in this thread about both the way AC hires and the PML. AC is inundated with qualified resumes and as a result, they rank the applicants using a matrix system to narrow down who they want. Having a degree, having certain types of time etc will give you a higher score...

This millennial hating drivel is so tired. 1500 retirements at AC in the next 10 years. Guess what, pretty soon most of the airline will be staffed by millennials. Take your blood pressure medication and STFU already.

It was never mentioned that the the travelling public WANTS to travel to Europe at night for their convenience, not the flight crews choice. Don't like it, don't book late night flights. The accountant will figure it out pretty quick. Nobody is arguing that we shouldn't be flying at night, that is ...

Re: Accruing seniority before you get on property?
For those that didnt have the option to defer to accrue seniority, what is life on reserve like? Days off per month, reserve time periods, next day bidding etc Widebody/RP Reserve is a lot easier as you have a pretty good idea of where the fleet is and it is rare to get a short call. Narrowbody res...
