Re: Jet naked
I don't think anyone there knows what's going on, probably on panic mode since Air Transat will soon no longer need Enerjet as sub charters with the new AT 737-800s coming onboard and the competition heating up on oil sands flying. I saw an Enerjet 737-700 parked at the terminal in YYC Saturday, it ...

Re: Second Officer Gig
Flightcraft is not the place to go right now based on what I've been hearing. If anything the loss of the Purolator contract will cause a mass exodus of pilots to other airlines.

Re: Message to the ALPA Canada Board
I'd be interested to see what ALPA is doing for all the KF guys? They jumped on the bandwagon to help pilots at certain airlines in the states facing layoff and job cuts, I'd put money on it they don't do the same for the KF guys.

What's the alternative, Air Canada and all the super hot 65 year old FAs? Lol!!! I'd go in a heartbeat to save myself from this industry and what it's becoming in Canada.

Re: Cargojet awarded Canada Post contract
In a way it's a good thing, it will allow the KF pilots to move on to a flying job where they won't need to put up the the antiquated and redundant operations of KF. If other airlines in Canada had 3 brain cells functioning they would be grabbing as many KF guys as possible based on their 705 experi...

Re: American Eagle (Envoy) Shrinking by Almost Half
Although I'm not a supporter of reduction in pay by any means, I would still go work for them compared to our options here in Canada. As a pilot I was born on the wrong side of the border. Just think for all those years you could go from flight school to a RJ or ATR in a regional of a major and not ...

You know it's funny they pride themselves on some outdated skytrax review but at the end of the day I would rate them a 2 star airline. You can't even get res on the phone unless you want to hold for 45min-3 hours. Total embarrassment as a national airline.

Re: Want to work in Canada? Read this first, please!
Well what we need is the Americans to open the doors to go there to work. Sad to say but I'd go work and live there in a heartbeat over the majority of the carriers in Canada. The sense of entitlement among the recruiters and Chief Pilits is pathetic and far too many pilots kiss their bums to get so...

Re: FLAIR
What's hilarious is that they do to take "flight engineer time" but make no mention of "Second Officer Time" in their hiring adverts so I guess assume they take it lol. What's funny is they say assume backseat time isn't valuable when yet they themselves use to operate 727s. The reason they say that...

Re: Air Georgian - Time to Reply?
Are you kidding me? They are so disorganized I'm embarrassed for them. I had direct contact with a chieft pilot there to be told one thing then their HR people tell you another. For an industry that's going to be hurting for pilots this airline was the worst and most frustrating to talk to.
