Re: A "NEW" One List?
I dont understand why some people do not support their representation. More communication is always nice but these people are working for the long term viability of your careers. The company would gut your profession down to nothing if they could, after lay off you would have only swoop to return t...

Re: A "NEW" One List?
Hi Cloak, you should talk to a rep. The company sees opportunity in this crisis. Their bargaining positioning was on the lines of: 1. Gutting scope, larger Jets at Encore; 2. ESP removed until their discretion; 3. Compensation reductions; 4. Layoff pay concessions; 5. Recall out of seniority. No wo...

Re: A "NEW" One List?
All ALPA Reps need to familiarize themselves with the Mission Statement.

Re: A "NEW" One List?
I think the short term concession MMG of 55 or even 50 would have been given for a longer MOA pretty easily, I could see differing the ESP until certain metrics are met by the company.... Under the circumstances likely most agree, so the question remains why the union has not communicated the offer...

Re: A "NEW" One List?
ALPA... Why is anybody shocked? They did what they always do. Protect the upper seniority pilots and sell out the junior ones. This is just a very extreme example. 1700 extreme which in my opinion is probably at least 600 more than it should have been considering the range initially presented was 5...

Re: A "NEW" One List?
Madman is the kind of person that believes, within the depth of his soul, that ALPA is responsible for the horrible WAWCON at Swoop. They blame ALPA for that shit show, not the company that created it. It’s scary that someone so mind numbingly stupid is capable of making it this far in our industry...

Re: A "NEW" One List?
WestJets biggest problem...ALPA, and the incompetence that their decisions made by those to represent and make the best decisions for ALL its members. You don’t make any sense. I was very clear and direct. The only thing that doesn’t make sense, is our Union “Leaders”. To keep this short and simple...

Re: Disparity between mainline and regional
Art, I totally agree. I have way too much to "express" on this topic and I feel it would simply be a rant. So, I'll save everyone the trouble of trying to figure out, what everyone already knows. Working conditions and wages have remained the same and have actually decreased over the last 15-20 year...

Re: SKY RÉGIONAL HIRING
Lowered, Forced, Sewered..... Disgruntled words for those select few, that can't see the forest for the trees! This all started way before Sky Regional even started. It actually started back in the day when all the Regionals were formed to create Jazz, a decision made to support AC's long term plan ...

Re: Foreign pilots: a few questions to Transport Canada
I agree with Gilles. I've been watching this develope for a long time with respect to TFW....all of Gilles concerns and questions are fundamentally correct and at best, deserve an intelligent and unbiased response. I'm not a big supporter of the media for answers when it involves aviation, BUT, this...
