will AC take non ac express pilots?

Just curious if AC is still hiring higher time pilots who are looking to get into airlines (after a layoff/company closure) and now thinking about my age and looking to short cut into something more stable. With over 9000 hours including mostly turbine PIC and training captain, would think i would h...

Re: Fly CemAir Canada

Does this mean they are not coming to Cyqm?
The traffic out of Moncton is starting to rival larger cities now, especially with so many working out of province doing rotations for every sort of trade. A/C sells every ticket available even after upping their plane size.

Re: B200 checkout

Have almost no info on CAE.
Flight safety would be great, if they are TC Approved :)

B200 checkout

We just acquired a B200, but we need to legally get the training captain trained to get things rolling. plenty of king air experience, just not legally checked out to work according to TC. if anyone knows of a good place to get a full check complete, or a company about to do their own ground school ...

Re: Charter air services looking to expand

economical jet compared to other jets, but yes, usually polar opposites haha. I am thinking in terms of 6-8 seats. Range of about 1000NM at least. Cargo would be enough for typical baggage of 6-8 people. at least 250lbs would be nice Definitely would like "all weather" aircraft. Nothing is truly all...

Charter air services looking to expand

I have been tasked with finding a charter/corperate company looking to expand into a new city that is in need of a charter aircraft to fill a current role for local business and potentially tourists as well. If anyone knows of such a company or investor, please pm me with details. We are thinking al...

Re: Porter Video Interview

I tried the interview, its not that tough, just questions about your own past. The tough part was getting it to work. Try and try again, I ended up doing the phone option instead. And my webcam works great with Skype or whatever else I have tried. Having the questions ahead of time probably will not...

Re: Sunwing interview

I have to agree with you cdnpilot, resume may just be the trouble. Possibly my cover letter (by possibly I mean deffinitely!). i do wish that a resume could be a video of a person flying, not on word play or fancy writing, or even a flashy smile on interview day. But truth is a person has to jumo th...

Re: Sunwing interview

If I have all the requirements they ask for on the job posting times 2 and then some, shouldn't I get an interview? Or at least a reply.
I am not the only one. Asking for many. Seems we get lost in the interweb system or something....

Re: How is it Out There?

Seems like they are only hiring low time guys, from what I have gathered. Would like to know the magic number. I have over 7000 hours and I keep getting "maybe soon", if I get a response at all. My friend has near 5000 hours and gets "not at the moment". And a few of my former students with between ...

Re: I'm Doing Resumes Again

I was wondering what the process is to get your resume update, and what it would cost. Feel free to pm me if you would like. I must be doing something wrong with over 7000hours, 1/2 of it multi turbine, plus tail wheel, charter, aerobatics and much more I would think I would at least get a call back...

Re: WJ encore and the regionals

Will they hire guys with 7000 hours if they have over half that multi turbine pic?
Or do I need a lot more hours, time on type, or internal reference?
This is an honest question that I cannot seem to get an answer to.
Feel free to PM me....
Thanks

Re: porter video interview

I have had close to the same. Have not acknoledged my application either. Mine may have been different because the web cam interview failed twice, so I had to do the phone option. It worked perfect on the phone, even had the questions appear on the screen too as I went along. Just rather dissapointi...
