Franktown radar broken?

Hi folks. For several weeks I have noticed impossible patterns for precipitations frm env Canada Franktown radar. It seems to be blind for a sector from 290 degrees true to 360 degrees true. Anyone aware of anything? Will try attach image I just took with foreflight.

Some have found the solution (anti gravity) already: element 115 . They are called the Greys. Google « Bob Lazar »

Happy reading.

What is meant by “recreational operator”?

What is the difference between “private operator” and “recreational operator”?

Does anyone have news regarding Burlington airpark?

There was an appeal date set for March 28th... did anyone attend? Any clue on how it went in court?

Thanks for the responses. I am not quite ready to buy and install this but when I do I will know it behaves well enough for our acanadian winters.

JPI EDM-900 question

Is there anyone here having this or a EDM-930 installed in their aircraft? I could not find in their docs the specified temperature operating range. I am wondering if this could behave at low temps like -20C or so? A friend emailed them and they say there are many in use in Canada.

Re: $100 personal oxygen system

Have a few question:

What would be needed to make a two persons system with this?
The system I usually borrow has a flow indicator for each user. I think this is important to ensure at altitude that things do work. How can we get this?

Thanks

Re: V airways between Toronto and Montreal

SuperChargedRS, are you going to help me with this? Need to renew soon and I would really like to have a cheaper option than what is currently offered if it is available. Would probably be OK if they would have an east (both Canada and US) package. I doubt I'll go further west than Oshkosh this year.

I updated both of my GNS boxes for under $500, full US and Canada
Is this USD or CDN $?

I am due for renewal now and for americas it is $550 USD so about $750 CDN and only one box: 430W

Re: Question about Cubana routing

For both days we flew (YUL - SNU and SNU -YUL) I compaired the routes we had with the ones Air Transat and Sunwings (those aircrafts were on the tarmak at SNU when we arrived) had and they did not cross any bad weather like we did. I checked on Flightaware. We were in clouds at FL380 (or around that...

Re: Question about Cubana routing

Thanks for the explanations. If I would have known about this beforehand, I would probably have chosen another airline. We were pretty well tossed like in a washing machine when crossing a line of storms in Florida. I guess the other airlines have more route options against bad weather.

Re: Question about Cubana routing

The aircrafts were leased ones ... probably considered as Cuban registered....The wording states that they can tell them on the routing. My question is "why do they force them there?"

Question about Cubana routing

I went to SNU (Santa Clara, CU) from CYUL last week on Cubana Airlines and did follow the flight on Foreflight. I was surprised that the IFR clearance would not take the most efficient route and with least risk of convection weather. I compared with the other airlines and they all go almost direct w...

Anyone flew their private plane to Cuba?

Hi folks. I am a regular traveller to Cuba with airlines and always hoped to go there with my Mooney. I attended this week's EAA webinar to learn more about it. The presenter has a company that provides packages for North Americans who wish to do this and not to worry about all the requirements (he ...

Re: Mooney M20?

I own a 1965 M20C in the Ottawa area. Too bad you are not around because I am looking for a partner. My insurance is $1400 for $65K hull. Annuals for the last 4 years averaged at $4500 if you do not count the prop overhaul I just did. Was as low as $3000 one year... depends on usage and sheer luck I...
