Re: PC-12 Engine Failure Glide to Runway

Engines will throw blades Sometimes that's just what they do So we carry two How many people are dead from losing an engine in a PC-12? Vs how many are dead from losing an engine in a King Air? Remember that time when an Airbus wound up in the Hudson? Or that 777 wound up short of Heathrow? Transat...

Re: Business flying slowing down?

Busier than ever. Balls out. Although one of the accountants told me their HST refund was rejected because the auditor at CRA determined that flying private was "too extravagant" can't wait until the tax lawyers get ahold of that one...This will set a dangerous precedent if its not fought and won. They're following the science alright. The POLITICAL science. The Trudeau regime is the most corrupt government we've ever had. And yet so many people are blind to what happened here, including several members of this forum. The brainwash is real. You think people would've learned from the t...

Re: Can I leave the plane while waiting on CANPASS?

I tell my pax I can't stop them from leaving if they need to use the washroom, too hot, too cold, etc. You wouldn't leave your dog in the car in the middle of winter/summer so why leave humans? It's a human right/ physiological needs issue. I'll take that all the way to the top if any officer create...

Re: CHAA Harvard Wingtip Strike Geneseo

Fleet16 is bang on. They don't have the common courtesy to call or email you back if you're interested in joining their organization to help out. Very unprofessional. A lot of great, experienced heavy tailwheel pilots in their own backyard have inquired also with no response. It's a shame to leave t...

Re: Do potential employers look at your SARON/SAMRA results?

No, they don't. Some of the biggest idiots and terrible pilots i've ever flown with are at AC (not all bad, some great ones too) but that just shows how great their hiring system is lol and before you "attack" I've never applied or had a desire to fly for AC (and have all their bullshit requirements)

All I know is if you didn't watch TV or own a cell phone you would have no idea there was a "pandemic" One of the healthiest years ever. I haven't seen anyone with even a sniffle this flu season. Re: New Bottom Feeder's

Why is SkyCare considered the bottom? I just started with them. New FO jobs are very far and few, and I had a decent amount of hours from pipelines and jumpers so I was direct into the FO position without ground time. Most of the people seem pretty straight forward and I was able to elect which bas...

Re: New Bottom Feeder's

When most, if not all in the aviation sector, are both future and financially fuct, you’re the one who decides who’s a “bottom feeder”??? Shouldn’t we, individually, in our own specific circumstances, decide what’s best for us and our families? Maybe more considerate thought is a wiser investment t...
