Re: ACPA getting rid of volunteers.........again?

there's a reason this happened. perhaps working together with the mec instead of starting a revolution A revolution? Really? Give me a fucking break. People can voice their concerns of the direction of our Association. Hell, that's how ACPA ended up being willed into existence. Distain against CALP...

Re: ACPA getting rid of volunteers.........again?

Can you give more deets? Did they step out of line? Were they released for like handing out flyers or something small like coffee machine talk? Do share, you’ve tickled our curiosity. There was a group last year that ran people in elections under a grass roots movement kinda thing. Basically anyone...

Re: Canadian Pilot Unity

When the Jazz bscalers FOs can feed their families, maybe then we can think about GGN. How about when the Jazz/GGN/Sky FO's can feed their families? We can think of a collective solution? You're still looking at this through the binoculars of "what's best for me at jazz" How about when the Air Cana...

Re: New Hire Equipment

Any updates on what the last couple of groundschools looked like? What equipment was awarded? What are guys/gals going for? Is there a chance to have a preference or 'pick'?

Thanks folks.

Re: Air Canada Medical

Does anyone have any updates on the Air Canada medical process?

What is checked? What isn't? How strict is it when it comes to weight vs height? What about this lung capacity test?

Re: Air Georgian

If you haven't had a reply, then how are you in the pool? I received an email from HR telling me that I have been placed in the hiring pool. The question was to see if those in the pool had received a start date.[/quote] I'm in the pool because I'm qualified to be. I meet all the requirements in the...

Re: MULTI PIC (SPIFR-Navajo) vs Multi Two Crew Ops (B1900)

Thanks everyone. I do have my A's and 90% of my time is PIC with almost half as PIC turbine (PT6). All single pilot so far.

I am tending towards the two crew experience offer.

Re: Canadian North Hiring

So isn't it quite misleading to post the requirements, WASTE pilots time and effort who apply and your company simply wouldn't even look at them? This my friends is why young guys have problems being hired, too many guys are sitting on the ground and the vicious cycle continues... What a sense of e...

Re: ATPL Processing Times

Interesting I was flying through and dropped my application to YYC on Sept 18th. October 20th I emailed and got an email back saying it was completed. Logbook was in my hand express posted by Wednesday. Everything was filled out and had it double checked by an inspector that day too so it wouldn't ...
