Re: Installing seat belts on pre-78 SE aircraft
But just because Cessna says something has to be overhauled, or replaced, don't automatically make it so. In Canada, anyway. But that statement in CAR 625 appx C seems to stay just that. If not what is it saying? (3) Nothing in these standards relieves the owner from the responsibility for determin...

Re: Installing seat belts on pre-78 SE aircraft
Hey DAR, Where do the CARs state the different requirements for Commercial vs. Private maintenance requirements. I know Cessna states right in their maintenance manual to replace the seat belts every 10 years and we do that on our commercial aircraft. But where do the CARs state that for private the...

Re: AME-S to AME-M1-M2 where is the line?
CAR 571 Schedule 2 lists what is considered specialized. An M guy cannot do any of these items. These Items need to be completed by an ACA holder approved for that work while working at an appropriately rated AMO.

I have my M1, What are my options to get my M2 license.
I currently have my M1 AME License. How would I go about getting my M2 AME License. I have heard a few things about this. 1 is to do another apprenticeship and fill out another log book for the M2 category, this apprenticeship time would be shorter possibly just 6 months? 2 I have heard you can go o...

Re: Small Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
Where can you buy the manuals for 600 and pay 75 for annual updates Donut Hole? That sounds like a much better way to go than with ATP. As well Essco is great for aircarft where the manual hasn't been updated ever like Bellanca, but for aircraft with updated manuals Essco usually doesn't have the mo...

What is the S/N of your aircraft. That rapco application chart seems to point to a 212 CW for your situation. If your S/N fits in the chart.
