Re: SWOOP OTS Captains punted from left seat...

I agree getting rid of picus would go a long way. Also would be great to have a 1500h rule for 705. Did wonders south of the border for working conditions!

Re: Boeing studies pilotless airplane

Creating a wireless link to operate an aircraft imo is completely irresponsible. To go completely pilotless you need true AI, and at that point there are WAY more jobs that can be automated for way more savings than pilots. It’ll create a paradigm shift too big for us to comprehend today.

Why can't we have PRM approaches for the 33s? Pearson has 5 runways, let's use them.

It's pretty obvious he's a troll, all his responses were perfectly tailored to get the maximum reaction while seeming naive. that last bit about swoop a year later is pretty obvious though...

How about you all fight the good fight while I'll take the job build up some time and swoop off to AC in a year or two.

Re: A320 Type Rating Requirement

There’s an easy trick, it’s also the cheapest method.

You build your hours normally, by flying smaller airplanes, and then when you eventually qualify, a company will hire you and pay for your rating!! Isn’t that great?

YYZ issues

What the hell is going on in YYZ lately? Haven’t had a flight leave on time in months, and with minimum weather they have complete ground stops over 5+ hours.

Do they know the airport is located in Canada?

Both escalators not working to get down to customs yesterday at T3... saw an old man almost fall all the way down.

Honestly if I don’t see around 50% of equipment broken it’s a good day. Makes you wonder where all those airport fees go to.
