Murray is so out of touch. It would’ve been better not to say anything than to write the worthless crap.

Failed MOA had these numbers published in the document or maybe the ACPA supporting documents but it was there.

Re: Is it that bad at AC for pilots? I mean food stamp bad!
Very easy. Once you go widebody CA — you can’t compare a 737/E192 pay scale, Your career earnings go up exponentially. A WB upgrade on the 767 has gone as low as 5yrs until the reduced and A330 is about 10-12yrs right now. Long term AC is the best career path in Canada. Also as far as the comment on...

To all you social media crack junkies that need to post a selfie to get a hit of endorphins... Now is not the time I know some of us can't help ourselves with a photo in front of a Dreamliner and how "we made it"...unless that photo has a big red ass lanyard around your neck...don't post Soon we wi...

Re: Is it that bad at AC for pilots? I mean food stamp bad!
If you’re in your 30s — you’ll have a great career with great pension. If you’re younger you’re gonna do even better. Just avoid having ex wives and paying alimony. If you come in your 40s and do 25yrs — you’ll still have a decent career with a great pension. If you’re in your 50s — 15yrs will bring...

Re: Is it that bad at AC for pilots? I mean food stamp bad!
It is bad. The guys who made the sacrifice now tho will reap the benefits. Upgrade times here will outpace everything by the 2028-2030s when retirements hit record numbers. 170k now is good but your future at AC is still much better especially once the contract gets settled. Most Jr captain was hire...

Re: Now is NOT the time for selfies or other "Look at me" Posts
If anything - the social media pilots should be wearing their Red lanyards proudly. If they are wearing it they stand for the union. Stop creating these stupid posts when clearly most of the pilots seem to admit they don't understand the power of social media. These are time wasting posts. Focus on ...

Go to Emirates.
We’ve got too many issues here and glory holes are now one of them.
Amazing how quiet they kept this one. Haha

It is sad that they had to do this and embarrassment for our pilot group in general which we will address this new contract, however as perspective in our last company bid... the most junior A220 CA was hired November 2023. Nov 2023? I love futurama. :D What is the actual date? haha my bad. It was ...

Re: The "Yes" side will be full of regret
I see a sad Yes vote on this unfortunately. Canadian pilots have been taught to not have a backbone. Senior guys happy to get what they can get. Junior guys completely disenfranchised and don't care. Sad to see what Jazz has become. A Yes vote to a MOS that the Union doesn't even support will be the...

Re: Approx Net Pay - First Year Q400 Captain
Porter doesn't have a union. That’s correct. And, they don’t have a union because they have a good working relationship between them. If Porter started going outside the posted agreement/ wage bands, doing “special favours”, etc. a union becomes more likely. There is no such thing as a good working...

Re: Toronto base wins the PRIZE!
We really should not be entertaining excuses. Next thing you know everyone will have one. Then even those holding the line will give up. I’ve watched it happen. The company is hoping for it. Failure in any Unity exercise could have devastating consequences. If the numbers grow small individuals may...

Re: Toronto base wins the PRIZE!
I do love how there seems to be a huge focus to ask guys on flat pay to not pick up any VO. Some guys happily admit they're even going to take LOC to pull through. No one ever thinks some of them are barely able to keep their heads out of the water to breathe. Some pilots can't even afford a LOC an...

Congrats to most united pilot group in Canada. What a road it has been for you all. I hope this deal shows what unity can truly bring.
If it is the new industry standard. I'll be buying coffeees/drinks to all WJ pilots when I see them around the terminals.

Re: Does the Former MEC Chair smoke crack?
Don't worry....I'll be up at my cottage in Muskoka, I won't spend a minute worrying about the train wreck that's about to occur. Has it ever occurred to you to evaluate why you believe the Air Canada pilots are incapable of acting like a real union. To do so will be a train wreck. Yes 2012 was a tr...
