I returned to college at 45 yrs old...took a structures program...passed with honours...was hired right out of school. It took a lot of extra study effort but I had a strong interest in aviation and when the kids were at the bar every night I was doing 4-5 hours of homework and studying at night and...

So looking at someone who is 50 or older, has previous flight training(but many years ago) and assuming can pass the Cat 1 medical and is strickly looking at flying floats...what would be the quickest way to get flying as a job...??? -Wouldn't the best training path be doing a commercial license pro...

Last time I checked approx. 4 years ago...I was already a Jazz employee in another department,shifts were 8-12 hours in length...pay started in the high 16-$18/hr and it takes approx. 15 years to get to full wage...!
