Possible to do a Grp 1 Renewal on Sim in GTA?
I've been out of aviation for a few years now. I am looking at renewing my Group 1 Instrument rating, it is just coming up on 2 years. Are there any flight schools in the GTA (Preferrable CYKZ) that have the ability to do a group 1 renewal on a simulator (to keep costs down)? Any info would be appre...

Zulu owners, question on removing the headpad
I just recently got a Lightspeed Zulu headset, and need to get under the head pad for the serial number. Is anyone able to describe how to get under it for the serial number? The manual is lacking in describing how to remove/change the head pad.

IFR Currency in a FTD/Sim?
I was recently talking to friend of mine. Now he mentioned that you can keep your IFR current in a ftd or sim (6hrs, 6 approaches) as long as you have an instructor with you. Is that true? All along i'd always thought you couldn't do that. Well not in a FTD anyways. Any input to clarify this would b...

How to Log IFR in VMC?
I was just wondering, what/if anything do you log time spent flying IFR in VMC?
Does it count a simulated? Or does it just get logged as nothing special?
I've had different people tell me different things and thought i could ask on here. See if i could get a consistant answer.

Flight instructors logging of instrument time
I heard that instructors could log time while their student is under the hood as hood time.
