Re: Did I waste Time And Money?

Even in a full motion simulator with proper control loading and flight dynamics more realistic than you can get at home it was quite a big set bac...

"They were also accused of acting in a threatening manner and fighting at the Hilton Hotel in the city on the same day." Not really impressed with Transat on this, and I'm sure most people aren't. I guess they're happy to let this dent their reputation rather than risk an unfair dismissal lawsuit. ...

Most of the 737 fleet is ETOPS but the ones operating to Europe have a different cockpit configuration (think 8.33khz comm spacing and other things special to Europe).

I had a discussion about this the other day... please do enlighten us on how they would do such a thing without being connect to their network/server. For practical purposes not spending a ton of dough. i'm fairly certain 90% of operators...

Re: Calgary man builds $25K flight simulator in his basement
I'm impressed he could do it so cheaply. Looked into this thing with some friends a few years ago. To reach a good level of sim, we were estimating around 40-50k. With roughly $25,000 That stuff adds up and I would guess the $25k is a really rough number. Sometimes with hobbies like this it's best ...

Long time lurker, first time poster. Weird that a sinus issue is what finally made me create an account on an aviation board... I'm battling chronic sinusitis and was given the same thing as you but unfortunately it didn't seem to help. How long did you use it before you started getting relief? My s...
