Spirit and Frontier aren't doing very well. And that's with lower taxes and operating fees.

You mean they expect to get paid for contracts they sign? Now I’m no expert in the business world but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works. You offer something, you get paid for something. Pretty sure airborne is not concerned with the feelings of new entrants.

Yeah realized that after the fact. Anyhoo, still no credibility. No internal memo was sent out. Lets wait and see what the real story is. Probably wont have to wait too long.

heres a couple of posts from iwannasoar. first one from 2010, second one from 2009. " I just recently started working on the ramp with AC and am confused about something. This morning it was beautiful, about 3 degrees not a cloud in the sky. I'm talking perfectly clear. There was no frost or moistur...

Re: More fat people fly on Air Canada than Westjet
Trey Kule really doesn't get the airline business, does he? Yes Trey, the airlines get every penny that they charge. Here is my idea. At every entrance to every airport, set up a booth for the following to collect their own user fees so that the uneducated (Trey Kule et al) can see who really gets t...

Re: Enerjet
Let me clarify. No, the EnerJet airplane was not parked on the ramp in front of the Esso getting serviced and fueled. As anyone who taxis past the Esso knows, the plane is always sitting in the weeds across the taxiway where aircraft are parked when they are staying for a while in YYC.

I've seen their plane sitting at the Esso just about every day this week. Im sure the Avitat is making money off it with ramp fees.

Doesn't really work like that. Kinda like when Im coming into Calgary, and there are thunderstorms around and everyone is holding. Just because I have found a "hole" doesn't mean I will be be coming in ahead of everyone else. I will still have to hold and wait for my turn. Something about this "revi...

How does Porter depart 15 minutes after AC and land before you at YTZ? Makes no sense at all.

Re: WJ 747-8...is this real?
As a matter of fact, you will see that in lots of air to air photos, flaps have been extended so that pictures can be taken at slower speeds. ATC has even been known to ask for speeds on arrival slower than flaps up speeds, which would once again lead to this crazy ass scenario. Nuts, eh??

Yep, I agree, runway 07/25 is a slick one when its wet.
And 10 in YYC and 20 in YEG are both RNP short gates, aren't they?
