Telex has a bit better passive than the david clarks, but they should cause they are way bigger. As far as clamping pressure, the telex was worse than the DC's and I have a small head and the telex was on the loosest setting. You could only tighten it up from the factory default. DC's were much more...

Bought the 50d, but stuck with the 10-13x due to these reasons. I really wanted to like the Telex, but just couldn't keep them due to following. +DC's more comfortable Telex was comfortable as well, but the gell earseals and the head padding made the difference for the DC's. +DC's noise cancelling c...

So lets carefully reduce power to arrive at one foot off the runway proper landing attitude, airspeed and zero thrust what effect would the above have on the touchdown? Rolling Eyes At the expense of everyone thinking I'm a bad pilot for not being able to do that 100% of the time? Why make my job h...

No sense repeating what Goldeneagle said, so I won't. I agree with what he said though. Cat, I can't tell you planes aren't meant to be landed power off, I can only tell you with some king airs pulling the power makes the airplane pull very hard and you will fall out of the sky. Keeping a little pow...

Each King air is different. To say you can land any King air with power off is ridiculous and like an earlier post said, it generalizing something that should not be.

Some models require power, some don't. Simple as that.

So Doc. Would you rather be in a pc-12 gliding to the ground, or flying in a light twin that can "barely" maintain altitude single engine on a good day? (let alone hot days or covered in ice) The simplicity of single engines go a long way. When you lose your fan, you look for a place to land. They a...

Their paintjobs look like I'm on a plane to Beetlejuice's hideout! Looks like they had each pilot pick their own design for each letter.

Are they going to be handing out gumdrops and lollypops as well?

Listen, We are the ones to blame because we accept it as a norm in our industry nowadays. Why not address the real problem? Why are employers side stepping the real problems and coming up with this training bond crap to keep employees put. There is a finite # of jobs out there as well as a finite # ...

Training bonds make me Ill. They totally avoid the real problem at hand. Why are my employees leaving? Well, I'll just take the easy way out and make then sign a training bond. Did you inform your young friend that these don't hold up in the court of law? Also, did you inform him that this industry ...

Anybody else get a letter from Transport Canada saying they owe money for processing fees? I owe 165, but i'm pretty sure this money has been coming off of my income tax refund.

What a scam!

Friendly reminder

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that there are other more appropriate freq. other than 126.7 to get your weather. 126.7 is busy enough as it is, let alone trying to get through to a conflicting aircraft but having to wait until joe blow gets 5 metars and 3 tafs. It actually amazes me that Fligh...
