Re: Why pilots are so...
...narcissist in social media? I used to follow some 'famous' pilots on different social media, but recently I realized how narcissistic some are, trying to show how 'wonderful' it is to work as a pilot. Being a pilot is like any job, it has its positive and negative things, but they idealize it so...

Re: Why pilots are so...
Being a Pilot is NOT like any other job, If you were a Pilot, (which I am assuming you are not), you would not have made that comment. Flying is something that gets in your blood and stays there. My Dad used to say that is was a Disease and once you have it its there for life...like Herpes.. I have...

Benefits of learning gliding as powered aircraft pilot?
Hey ! I'd like to see your point of view about the benefits of learning to soar for a powered a/c pilot (let's see a CPL pilot). I know, it's very awesome to fly a glider and requires a lot of manual skills, but I'd like to go deeper into this question. Is it worth paying for another license? Thanks...

Preparing for the PPL
Hi aviatiors ! I'm very excited. Finally I will start my PPL course, but before I'd like to read a little bit about what I'm going to study. I've searched free blogs and books but I didn't find something interesting... Any recommendation? PS : I can't buy used-new PPL books because I'm not currently...

Ever fly coast to coast in a Cessna
I'm just curious... has anyone ever took a C152/C172 and flown from Quebec/GTA to BC and vice versa? I'm wondering to read your experiences because I'd love to do this trip one someday...

Re: Victoria Flying Club review
Well, I'm going to tell you my own experience. I saw their website and I contacted them through the contact us tab. Great, I received a reply nearly 10 days later, after sending emails to three emails addresses, the Facebook page and call them from my country (I'm not Canadian). Well, finally I rece...

Not funny @treykule... you don't help him
Cedric, sorry, I'm not an expert in flight schools, so I can't give you a hand. Remeber, forums will rarely help you, on the contrary, you're going to sink more in your pursuit
PS : I tell you this advice based on my own experience;)

Re: Which school is better? HARVSAIR or moncton flight coll
Any academy will not give you this chance for sure. Maybe some FTU's will tell you that we take flight instructors for our graduates but don't be naive and don't put off by that "promise". If you wanna work as a FI you have study hard and show that you have something more than just a simple instruct...

Re: I need reviews about my flight training project !
@billgeno That being said, if you have no other back up plan and few marketable skills beyond your pilot's licence, I would highly suggest that you do complete a program. There is the problem. I have a High School Diploma and I think that it isn't enough... In addition, I belong to a family who most...

Re: I need reviews about my flight training project !
@cncpc Yes it is. I have a dim future in front of me but someone told me a time when I forgot completely my idea of being a pilot that I'll always be angry with myself if I do not follow what my heart wants. I want to become a pilot. Not an airline pilot. I don't care if I fly C172's all my life. ...

@Meatservo I'm a comprehensive guy, so don't worry, more or less I understood what you are telling BUT you have to understand that I'm going to make a great financial expense and I want to be sure that I'm going in the good way.

Dear Canadian aviatiors, I’m a young guy, no Canadian, and I’m thinking to start my aviation career in Canada. I’m writing this thread to show you my decisions and, as a rookie in the aviation world, I hope to receive advice on your part. Well, when I started to search flight schools in Canada I foc...
