Two-seat fatties mean the rest of us get spared being squashed up against the window by the "spill-over" (although they should still have to pay).

Reno. It's also a great trip in a light a/c from Western Canada but remember to book your parking in advance as it gets really busy on the ramp at the international! Did it a couple of years back from ZBB and have very fond memories of the trip (scenic route via St Helens and Crater Lake, parking a ...

If I remember rightly Concorde's Olympus engines at cruise altitude are still the most efficient aircraft engines* ever devised in terms of miles per gallon. Mach 2+ supercruise with no reheat necessary. *By this I'm guessing "airliner engine" as I'm sure those funny looking things Rutan and co. fly...

I saw a programme on this a while back and it was quite interesting. There was a marked change in tem...

Ok, am also looking at this choice at present. I'm aiming for the AME (E) qualification and would either be headed for Kelowna (BCIT) or Dawson Creek (NLC). From what I can gather, the Northern Lights course is more generalist but is well regarded and of shorter duration, with the same credit from T...
