Re: Lower than a SNAKE'S BELLY

Very cool pics!

And of course, if you read the captions, LOTS of those guys died by low flying. Coincidence?

I'm sure there are some very good pilots that can do that stuff safer than others, but I'm not one of them so I'll be happy being that low for the purposes of taking off and landing only.

Re: Being Bullied!

The only thing I can add here is general advice. The first time you get fired/laid off/whatever is the hardest. You think, "Why me? I did an OK job. Life's so unfair. WAAAAAH!! What will I do now?" The second time you get fired/laid off/whatever is easier. You think, "Jeebus! It happened again...

Re: Freelance

Here's what I found: http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/regserv/cars/part4-406-1077.htm#406_03 So CAR 406.03 (2) (b) (iii) says the instructor can't be associated with the aircraft, and the instruction can't be for a recreational or PPL. That's the part after the "or". Of course, I could be inter...

I have a CPL.

What is an SDK? Never heard of that.

Does that make me a bad pilot?

Just when I thought I was cool... :?

Re: sunglasses for us old guys

Have a look at this site: http://www.zennioptical.com/ For somewhere between 35 and 50$, you can choose your style of frame, type of material, lens power, shape, thickness, tinting; and a huge range of options to your own specs. If you have a prescription, they will manufacture to your specs includ...

Re: International Pilot Shortage

I kinda like where I am, but I'd work in Asia for a year to check it out for a $200,000 contract.

I wonder if they'd be interested in a 40+ year old with an expired Multi-IFR, 260 hours and a float rating. :smt017

If yes, then there would definitely be a shortage. :smt045

Of course it is. But what blows my mind is how people can see evidence after evidence of government corruption/incompetence/criminality and they still believe the "official" story. It's like the news says the sky is pink, then everyone walks around saying it's pink and if you say "here's the evidenc...
